The Educator Fellows program (or Ed. Fellows for short) is a two-year program run by the New Mexico Public Education Department. Ed. Fellows allows you to explore teaching in your own community—or wherever you want to make an impact.
If you have a high school diploma (but no bachelor’s degree) and want to pursue a career in education, you may qualify for New Mexico’s Ed. Fellows program. You can select any participating elementary school in the state and make a meaningful impact through teaching.
“The Ed Fellow program has been so great. Having the ability to work with a Master teacher and get hands-on experience, especially for someone who has never been in the classroom, has been such an incredible opportunity. The opportunity to go to school while I work in a classroom has changed my life and allowed me to pursue my dream that was never possible.”
