Program Info

The undergraduate minor in secondary education is intended for students already pursuing a bachelor’s degree at New Mexico Tech. This minor will allow you to become a certified teacher for grades 7-12 in New Mexico schools once you graduate. The program is accredited by the New Mexico Public Education Department and includes five classes along with supervised hands-on field experiences in local secondary classrooms.
