The University of the Southwest (USW) is a private, Christian non-profit university in Hobbs, New Mexico. USW offers on-campus and online undergraduate and graduate degrees, emphasizing faith, servant leadership and academic excellence. The College of Education at the University of the Southwest offers a rigorous, hands-on teacher preparation program that is aligned with the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation standards and accredited by the New Mexico Public Education Department.
