I am a graduate of Canajoharie High School Class of 98, SUNY Albany, Class of ‘02, and The George Washington University, Class of ‘08. I was inspired by my teachers to join the profession because their attention and affirmation made a huge impact on my self-esteem and intellectual growth. I remained in the profession because the work is rewarding and keeping up with every innovation and reform satisfies my learning addiction. I have worked in rural, urban, and suburban high schools in DC, Maryland, and now Las Vegas, NM. Check out my Insta/BS:KY @Wyldcard518 or Youtube Channels (Whalen1917 / LEQtion) to see my students amazing work and my history as an educator. I look forward to being your coach!
